Mystery Guests...
If you would like to know more or take part please contact me 06 30882726 or call the church.
It's been a crazy few weeks again at the church. We still don't know when
they are going to demolish the building. but we are planning many events in
the next few months and are looking for people with ideas who would like to
be involved.
If you feel that you can do something, or want to help in
anyway, please contact Craig or myself also just come by and visit and see
what's happening. We have a meeting each Wednesday at around 8.30pm at which
you are welcome to come with your proposals.
The last poetry evening was a very surprising one. Although there
ware not many people in the audience, the quality of the performers was
exceptional. Heading the bill was 'Stef Wauters' with his percussion poetry
which is some thing entirely original and exciting... A surprise guest
was Iriel Sayeed, who just turned up and did what she does better than
ever. Ken Parsons was also on top form with his biting satire on the
new age and astrology. Music was provided by T-Bone Fisher & Carlos.
Many other poets performed that evening and apart from lacking a large
audience the evening was great.
